You will start your journey in Tangier, where you will explore the city’s vibrant markets and take in its stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. From there, you will travel to Fes, where you will visit the ancient medina and explore its winding streets. You will then head to Merzouga, where you will spend a night in a traditional Berber camp and take a camel ride through the desert. Finally, you will end your journey in Marrakech, where you will explore its bustling souks and take in its vibrant culture. Along the way, you will have plenty of opportunities to sample local cuisine and take part in activities such as cooking classes and pottery workshops.


7 days Tangier to Merzouga desert

Day 1: Tangier

Arrive in Tangier and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the city, including the Kasbah and the Medina.

Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Depart from Tangier and drive to Chefchaouen, a picturesque mountain town known for its blue-washed buildings. Along the way, you will pass through several small towns and villages, offering plenty of opportunities to take in the stunning views of the countryside. Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, you explore the city’s winding streets, vibrant markets, and stunning blue-washed buildings. Spend the day exploring the town and its surroundings. Night in riad.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes

Depart from Chefchaouen and drive to Fes. Spend the day exploring the city, including the Medina, the Royal Palace, and the Bou Inania Madrasa. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner in your riad.

Day 4: Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, you will depart from Fes to Merzouga. You will pass through Ifran, a ski resort town in the Middle Atlas Mountains, and Azrou, a cedar forest where you can see the apes. You will then continue to Midelt, a small town in the Middle Atlas Mountains, and Erfoud, a small town known for its fossil deposits. Finally, you will arrive in Merzouga, where you will spend the night in a desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorge

Today start with a drive from Merzouga to Erfoud. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the fossil mines and learn about the history of the area. After exploring the mines, continue your journey to Todra Gorge. Spend the day exploring the gorge and its surroundings. Take in the stunning views of the towering cliffs and enjoy a picnic lunch in the shade of the palm trees. After a full day of exploration, spend the night in a hotel in Todra Gorge.

Day 6: Todra Gorge – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Departure from Todra Gorge and drive to Ouarzazate via the Dades Valley. Along the way, you will be able to admire the stunning views of the valley and its many villages. In southern Morocco, there are many kasbahs to explore. The most famous of these is Ait Ben haddou, which was used as a filming location for movies such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Other popular kasbahs include Tinerhir, Skoura, and Ouarzazate. These kasbahs offer you a chance to explore the traditional architecture, learn about the Berber culture, and experience the stunning desert landscape.
Once you reach Ouarzazate, you can visit the famous Ait Ben haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring the Kasbah, continue your journey to Marrakech. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Atlas Mountains as you make your way to Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech – Departure

Transfer to Marrakech airport for your departure flight.
