5 day trip from Marrakech to desert
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou
This 5 day trip from Marrakech to desert will start by picking you up from your accommodation, then we will travel through the High Atlas mountains via the beautiful landscape and the Berber village in the heart of the High Atlas. We will visit an old kasbah of Pasha Glaoui in Telouite then we will discover the old caravan track that comes from Timbukto Mali to Marrakech to exchange their goods. We go to the village of Ait ben haddou which is an enclosure of traditional masons built in adobe, the old Berbers live in an enclosure of houses built in adobe surrounded by murals to protect themselves from the attack of other tribes these houses called kasbah and ksour, the Ait ben haddou kasbah is an example of which you will discover the Berber culture. you enjoy a guided tour of this site declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 2: Aït ben haddou – Dades Gorges
Departure to the Dades Gorges, we will explore the oases of Skoura and the Dades Gorges, In skoura we will visit the Kasbah of Amridil, and we will continue towards the Valley of Roses, where we will stop to take beautiful photos of the valley de les roses, then we will follow the beautiful Dadès valley towards Boumalne you will discover a linguistic gathering of Berber houses on the Dadès road, parallel to the Dadès valley until Boumalne, then we will discover the granitic rocks of different shapes in the Dadès Gorges where we will spend the night in a hotel.
Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra – Merzouga
Our tour will continue towards the desert of Merzouga, we will pass by Tinghir and the palm grove of Todra, we will have lunch in the gorges of Todra. In the afternoon, our journey will take us through the villages of Tinjdad and Jorf to reach Erfoud, a town in the Tafilalt region known for its magnificent fossils and date palm groves. then we will cross a desert landscape to arrive in Merzouga. You will ride a camel to explore the dunes of Merzouga. And go to the bivouac at the Erg Chebbi dunes to spend a wonderful night around the campfire. You will admire the sunset and sunrise over the dunes which are magnificent magical landscapes not to be missed!
Day 4: Merzouga – Alnif – Nkob – Agdz
After breakfast we leave for Rissani to discover the Tafilalt market then we will cross Alnif a beautiful Berber village towards Tazarine, a palm grove where Henna is grown, a plant used for tattooing, Moroccan women use Henna for hand tattoos and feet in different wedding celebrations, religious festivals… We continue to the village of Nkob for lunch, Nkob is a Berber village of the Ait Atta tribe. In the afternoon we will cross the Draa Valley to reach Agdz. We will spend the night in a kasbah.
Day 5: Agdz – Fint oasis – Marrakech
After breakfast, we leave for Fint an oasis near Ouarzazate, here you can enjoy the palm grove. After lunch, we leave for Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, we will drop you off at your accommodation.
