We travel the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops to admire panoramic views and traditional Berber villages. We visit the historic Telouet Kasbah, once home to the powerful Glaoui family and an important stop on ancient caravan routes linking Marrakech to Timbuktu, Mali.

We then continue to the iconic Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Explore its traditional earthen architecture and learn about Berber heritage during a guided visit.

Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Aït Ben Haddou.

DAfter breakfast, we continue toward the Dades Valley. We pass through Ouarzazate and head to the Skoura oasis, known for its palm groves and historic kasbahs. Here, we visit the well-preserved Kasbah Amridil.

We then travel through the beautiful Valley of Roses, famous for its seasonal blooms and scenic landscapes, before continuing along the Dades Valley.

Continuing through Tinghir, Tinjdad, and Jorf, we reach Erfoud, known for its fossils, date palm groves, and gateway to the desert.

By afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here begins one of the highlights of your journey: A camel trek across the dunes at sunset, as the Sahara glows in warm golden tones.

Yes, most desert camps offer Wi-Fi in the common area. However, please note that the connection can be slow or limited due to the remote Sahara location. Mobile network coverage (especially Maroc Telecom) generally works in Merzouga and sometimes near the camp, but signal strength may vary. We encourage guests to enjoy the rare opportunity to disconnect, relax under the stars, and fully experience the magic of the Sahara, but you will still be able to stay in touch if needed.
