We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying breathtaking landscapes and traditional Berber villages along the way. We visit the historic Telouet Kasbah, once home to the powerful Glaoui family and a key stop on ancient caravan routes.

We then continue to the iconic Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages. Enjoy a guided visit through its earthen architecture and rich history.

Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Aït Ben Haddou.

After breakfast, we visit Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you may explore Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah.

We then travel south through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tnifift pass before reaching Agdz and the lush Draa Valley.

We visit Tamnougalt Kasbah, one of the oldest in the region, before continuing toward Zagora, famous for its palm groves and desert landscapes.

Enjoy a sunset experience in the desert surroundings of Zagora before dinner and overnight in a bivouac.

Today, we venture off the beaten path into Morocco’s remote desert regions.

We follow old tracks once used during the Paris-Dakar Rally, crossing vast desert landscapes, rocky plateaus, and isolated villages rarely visited by tourists.

Arrival in Tafraout Sidi Ali, a quiet and authentic desert village where you will experience local life far from the crowds.

Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional desert guesthouse.

After breakfast, we continue through some of Morocco’s most stunning and untouched desert scenery, passing through Ouzina and Ramlia, remote regions known for their golden sands and dramatic landscapes.

We stop to visit ancient petroglyphs in Taouz, experience traditional Gnaoua music in the village of Khamlia, and have a Berber lunch.

By afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the famous Erg Chebbi dunes. Here begins the highlight of your journey: A camel trek across the dunes at sunset, followed by arrival at your desert camp.

At the camp, enjoy a dinner show with live Berber music around the campfire and a magical night under the stars.

Overnight in a desert camp (standard or luxury options available).

Wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes.

After breakfast, return by camel (or 4×4) to Merzouga, then visit Rissani and its traditional Tafilarte market.

We continue through Erfoud and the oasis landscapes of Tinghir before reaching the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs create one of Morocco’s most impressive natural sites.

After lunch, we travel through the Dades Valley, stopping to admire its unique rock formations.

Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in the Dades Gorges.

After breakfast, we travel through the Skoura oasis to visit the beautiful Kasbah Amridil. We continue to Kalaat M’Gouna, known for its rose products, before heading to Ouarzazate.

Yes. You can choose between a standard camp (private tent with shared facilities) or a luxury camp (private tent with en-suite bathroom and shower).

Yes, most desert camps offer Wi-Fi in the common area. However, please note that the connection can be slow or limited due to the remote Sahara location. Mobile network coverage (especially Maroc Telecom) generally works in Merzouga and sometimes near the camp, but signal strength may vary. We encourage guests to enjoy the rare opportunity to disconnect, relax under the stars, and fully experience the magic of the Sahara, but you will still be able to stay in touch if needed.
