Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Fes

Welcome to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your riad in the medina or city center.

Depending on your arrival time, enjoy free time to relax or begin discovering the atmosphere of one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities.

Dinner and overnight stay in your riad.

After breakfast, discover the magic of Fes, home to one of the world’s most fascinating medieval medinas.

Explore narrow alleyways filled with artisans, spice shops, leather tanneries, historic madrasas, and hidden courtyards. Visit highlights such as the Royal Palace gates, Bou Inania Madrasa, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the old city.

Fes offers a deep immersion into Morocco’s living history and craftsmanship.

Dinner and overnight stay in your riad.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic excursion to the enchanting Blue City of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains.

Famous for its blue-painted lanes, mountain setting, and peaceful atmosphere, Chefchaouen is one of Morocco’s most photogenic destinations.

Wander through charming streets, browse artisan shops, relax in Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and soak in the slower pace of northern Morocco.

Return to Fes in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in your riad.

Today, begin your journey south toward the Sahara Desert.

Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known for alpine-style charm, and Azrou’s cedar forests where Barbary macaques are often seen.

After lunch near Midelt, continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley, where palm groves and oasis scenery stretch across the horizon.

By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a camel trek into the dunes at sunset.

Dinner, Berber music, and overnight stay in a desert camp under the stars.

Wake early to witness sunrise over the Sahara.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the Merzouga region by 4×4. Visit nomadic families, discover hidden desert landscapes, and stop in Khamlia village to hear traditional Gnawa music.

This immersive day offers a deeper experience of desert culture beyond a simple overnight stay.

Later, return to your accommodation in Merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay in a riad or the desert camp.

After breakfast, depart Merzouga and continue west through changing desert landscapes.

Visit Rissani, a traditional market town rich in Saharan heritage, then continue toward the spectacular Todra Gorges, where towering limestone cliffs rise dramatically above the valley floor.

Enjoy time to walk through the gorge before continuing to Boumalne Dades, known for kasbah villages, scenic roads, and striking rock formations.

Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

After breakfast, travel through Skoura Oasis and Ouarzazate toward the legendary Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages.

Its earthen towers and narrow alleys have served as the backdrop for many international films and series. Enjoy time to explore, take photos, and have lunch overlooking the valley.

We then cross the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with panoramic views and winding roads through Berber villages.
