After breakfast, discover the magic of Fes, home to one of the world’s most fascinating medieval medinas.
Explore narrow alleyways filled with artisans, spice shops, leather tanneries, historic madrasas, and hidden courtyards. Visit highlights such as the Royal Palace gates, Bou Inania Madrasa, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the old city.
Fes offers a deep immersion into Morocco’s living history and craftsmanship.
Dinner and overnight stay in your riad.
Day 3: Excursion to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic excursion to the enchanting Blue City of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains.
Famous for its blue-painted lanes, mountain setting, and peaceful atmosphere, Chefchaouen is one of Morocco’s most photogenic destinations.
Wander through charming streets, browse artisan shops, relax in Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and soak in the slower pace of northern Morocco.
Return to Fes in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in your riad.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Today, begin your journey south toward the Sahara Desert.
Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known for alpine-style charm, and Azrou’s cedar forests where Barbary macaques are often seen.
After lunch near Midelt, continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley, where palm groves and oasis scenery stretch across the horizon.
By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a camel trek into the dunes at sunset.
Dinner, Berber music, and overnight stay in a desert camp under the stars.

Wake early to witness sunrise over the Sahara.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the Merzouga region by 4×4. Visit nomadic families, discover hidden desert landscapes, and stop in Khamlia village to hear traditional Gnawa music.

FAQs
Is this tour private or shared?
This is a 100% private tour. You will travel only with your own group and driver/guide.
Is the desert camp comfortable?
Yes. You can choose between a standard camp (private tent with shared facilities) or a luxury camp (private tent with en-suite bathroom and shower).
Are there electricity outlets in the desert camp?
Yes. Both standard and luxury camps provide electricity, usually powered by solar energy or generators during certain hours in the evening and early morning. You can charge your phone and camera in your private tent or in the common area.
Is there Wi-Fi in the desert camp?
Yes, most desert camps offer Wi-Fi in the common area. However, please note that the connection can be slow or limited due to the remote Sahara location. Mobile network coverage (especially Maroc Telecom) generally works in Merzouga and sometimes near the camp, but signal strength may vary. We encourage guests to enjoy the rare opportunity to disconnect, relax under the stars, and fully experience the magic of the Sahara, but you will still be able to stay in touch if needed.
What should I pack for the Sahara Desert?
Comfortable clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, scarf for the wind, warm layers for the evening (especially in winter), and comfortable shoes.
