Day 1: Fes
Arrive in Fes and Transfer to your riad.
Fes is the oldest imperial city of Morocco and its medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Strolling around the medina, you’ll find a labyrinth of narrow alleys and small shops selling all sorts of goods, from carpets and leather goods to spices and souvenirs. You can also visit the famous tanneries, where leather is tanned using natural ingredients and techniques that have been used for centuries. The city is also known for its delicious local food specialties such as couscous and tagine. After exploring the city, stay overnight in one of the many hotels or riads (traditional Moroccan houses) in Fes.
Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt
The journey from Fes to Midelt is one of the most beautiful and scenic routes in Morocco. You will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, with their breathtaking views and rugged terrain, then the Atlas Mountains, with their snow-capped peaks and lush valleys. Along the way, you will also see traditional Moroccan villages, stunning landscapes and learn about the unique culture of this North African country. Night in hotel in Midelt.
Day 3: Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
The route from Midelt to Merzouga offers a diverse range of scenic views including mountains, canyons, oases, sand dunes, and Berber villages. You can also experience a camel ride in the Erg Chebbi dunes and witness a breathtaking sunset over the dunes. You can spend the night at a camp near the dunes to fully immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings.
Day 4: Merzouga – Tazarine – Nkob
The Merzouga-Nkob road is a main road that crosses the Sahara desert in Morocco. It starts in Merzouga, a town east of the city of Rissani, and ends in Nkob, a town west of Ouarzazate. The road is over 200 km long and crosses varied landscapes, ranging from sand dunes to rocky mountains. The road is usually very quiet and can be covered in about 4 hours. There are spectacular viewpoints along the way and opportunities for photo stops. The road is also lined with small Berber villages where travelers can stop to taste local dishes and meet the locals. Night in kasbah in Nkob berber village.
Day 5: NKob – Zagora – Ouarzazate
Drive to Zagora and visit its popular attractions including the old mud-brick Kasbah of Tamgroute with its famous library of ancient manuscripts. Continue your journey to Ouarzazate and visit the Tourirt kasbah. Spend the night in Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Drive towards Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic destinations. Explore the ancient Kasbah and enjoy lunch with a view over the surrounding valley. Continue your drive to Marrakech and explore its famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square. taste the Moroccan pastry with a good tea. Spend the night in riad in Marrakech.
Day 7: Transfert to aeroport
We transfer you to Marrakech airport after breakfast.
