FAQs
Is this tour private or shared?
This is a 100% private tour. You will travel only with your own group and driver/guide.
Is the desert camp comfortable?
Yes. You can choose between a standard camp (private tent with shared facilities) or a luxury camp (private tent with en-suite bathroom and shower).
Are there electricity outlets in the desert camp?
Yes. Both standard and luxury camps provide electricity, usually powered by solar energy or generators during certain hours in the evening and early morning. You can charge your phone and camera in your private tent or in the common area.
Is there Wi-Fi in the desert camp?
Yes, most desert camps offer Wi-Fi in the common area. However, please note that the connection can be slow or limited due to the remote Sahara location. Mobile network coverage (especially Maroc Telecom) generally works in Merzouga and sometimes near the camp, but signal strength may vary. We encourage guests to enjoy the rare opportunity to disconnect, relax under the stars, and fully experience the magic of the Sahara, but you will still be able to stay in touch if needed.
What should I pack for the Sahara Desert?
Comfortable clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, scarf for the wind, warm layers for the evening (especially in winter), and comfortable shoes.
