Tangier has long inspired artists, writers, and travelers with its unique atmosphere and coastal charm.

Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen
After breakfast, journey south into the scenic Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. Known as Morocco’s famous Blue City, Chefchaouen is celebrated for its blue-painted alleys, mountain setting, and relaxed pace of life.
Spend the afternoon wandering charming streets, browsing artisan shops, photographing colorful corners, or enjoying mint tea in the main square.
Overnight stay in a riad.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes
After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and travel toward Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Upon arrival, begin exploring one of the world’s most fascinating medieval cities. Visit highlights such as the Royal Palace gates, historic medina entrances, and lively artisan quarters.
In the evening, enjoy the warm atmosphere of your traditional riad. Overnight stay in Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara
Today, travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains toward the Sahara. Pass through Ifrane, known for alpine-style architecture and clean mountain air, then continue to Azrou’s cedar forests where Barbary macaques are often seen.
After crossing Midelt and changing landscapes, descend through the magnificent Ziz Valley with its palm groves and oasis scenery.
By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a camel trek at sunset across the golden sands to your desert camp.
Dinner, Berber music, and overnight beneath a sky full of stars.
Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges
Wake early to witness a magical Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, return by camel (or 4×4) to Merzouga and continue toward Erfoud, famous for fossils and date palms. Optional visits to fossil workshops can be arranged.
Later, travel through oasis towns and desert landscapes to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where immense limestone cliffs rise dramatically above a narrow canyon. Enjoy time to walk through the gorge and admire one of Morocco’s most impressive natural sites.

FAQs
Is this tour private or shared?
This is a 100% private tour. You will travel only with your own group and driver/guide.
Is the desert camp comfortable?
Yes. You can choose between a standard camp (private tent with shared facilities) or a luxury camp (private tent with en-suite bathroom and shower).
Are there electricity outlets in the desert camp?
Yes. Both standard and luxury camps provide electricity, usually powered by solar energy or generators during certain hours in the evening and early morning. You can charge your phone and camera in your private tent or in the common area.
Is there Wi-Fi in the desert camp?
Yes, most desert camps offer Wi-Fi in the common area. However, please note that the connection can be slow or limited due to the remote Sahara location. Mobile network coverage (especially Maroc Telecom) generally works in Merzouga and sometimes near the camp, but signal strength may vary. We encourage guests to enjoy the rare opportunity to disconnect, relax under the stars, and fully experience the magic of the Sahara, but you will still be able to stay in touch if needed.
What should I pack for the Sahara Desert?
Comfortable clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, scarf for the wind, warm layers for the evening (especially in winter), and comfortable shoes.
